    Tours Docent-Led Tours and Self-Guided VisitsBecause of the unique setting of Rienzi, visits to the house and art collection are by advance ticket purchase. Small groups and individuals are welcome.   3. Art Bite Tour | Cullen Sculpture Garden

    On Thursday evenings, Art Bite Tours offer a 30-minute focus on a selected area of the MFAH art collections. This tour showcases Cullen Sculpture Garden. Meet the docent at the garden’s entrance on Bissonnet Street. All tour participants and docents are required to wear masks.   Learning and Interpretation programs receive generous funding from the Jerold B.

    Mar 3, 2016 - Oh yes, she sometimes came by when we were giving tours. It was very intimidating to have her nearby as you were telling a guest about a particular painting or piece of furniture. Bayou Bend docent Betsy Ache was there on March 5, 1966. I asked her about her memories of the day, how she became a docent, and more. You were a brand-new “class of 1966” Bayou Bend docent. In addition to being a docent, you also served on the docent board as group-tour chair and general chair. What has kept you so dedicated and involved for so many years?
