July 2022
MFAH members are invited to explore the MFAH art collections and exhibitions on Saturday tours. Topics change monthly.
In July, join a docent on a tour unlocking the secrets of the underground tunnel network and its three commissioned immersive works, unique to the MFAH. Meet in the lobby of the Beck Building, then head to the lower level to experience and learn more about the illuminating, subterranean art environments that link the campus buildings together: Chromosaturation MFAH by Carlos Cruz-Diez, Sometimes an underground movement is an illuminated bridge by Ólafur Elíasson, and The Light Inside by James Turrell.
