Glassell School of Art
The Glassell School is the teaching institute of the MFAH, offering studio-art courses, art-history instruction, and workshops for adults; classes for students ages 3 to 18; and the distinguished Core Residency Program for postgraduate artists and critics.

Children's Program
The Glassell Junior School is an art school for young people devoted to nurturing creativity and dedicated to fostering an appreciation of the arts and an awareness of the world.

Teen Program

Adult Program
The Glassell Studio School offers courses in art history and studio arts for adults ages 18 and older of all skill and experience levels.

The Kitty King Powell Library and Study Center, located in the Lora Jean Kilroy Visitor and Education Center at Bayou Bend, comprises more than 9,000 volumes about American decorative art, material culture, and art, with helpful staff to assist users in finding information.
