Museum Arcade “Pocket Plays”

Experience the MFAH in an exciting new way with Museum Arcade. This self-guided, on-site activity features short “pocket programs” you can enjoy using your own mobile device and headphones or earbuds.

The MFAH is full of mysteries, romance, puzzles, jokes, spiritual revelations, and enlightening perspectives. Museum Arcade invites you to dive into the art collections via puzzles, games, and audio/video content.

To create this presentation, four playwrights with Scriptwriters Houston visited the Kinder Building and let their imaginations take flight. Inspired by what they saw in the galleries of decorative arts, craft, and design, the playwrights created five-minute "audio plays, ranging from fantastic and tender to witty and beyond.
