Looking for a new art experience? Art Encounters programs, led by artists and inspired by art at the MFAH, focus on creating community. This session draws inspiration from the exhibition Toshiko Takaezu: Worlds Within and the work of Houston artist Emily Fens. Guided by Fens, create a mini moonscape that channels Takaezu’s expressive brushwork and Fens’s emotional use of pattern, shape, and color in Love Letter to the Moon.
The way you participate is up to you. Take an active role, or simply observe. Open to all ages. Supplies are provided.
