Virtual Discussion | History Book Club “The Church in the Barrio”

Look to the MFAH for good books and great conversations! The History Book Club presents free, in-depth discussions on literature and art.

Throughout the year, you’re invited to join these talks about books on life in Europe and America during the 18th and 19th centuries, inspired by the collections of the two MFAH house museums: Bayou Bend and Rienzi.

The November selection is The Church in the Barrio: Mexican American Ethno-Catholicism in Houston by Roberto R. Treviño.

Live via Zoom / Wednesday, November 11, 2020 / 1:30 p.m. Central Time
