Art Crowd | “Woven Wonders”

June 30, 2023

Members of Art Crowd and ticketed guests have exclusive, after-hours access to the exhibition Woven Wonders: Indian Textiles from the Parpia Collection when the Museum is closed to the public. Enjoy drinks, light bites, an art-making activity, and music by DJ Rami.

Showcasing the extraordinary history, aesthetic, and diversity of Indian textiles, Woven Wonders features one of the most significant private collections of Indian textiles outside of India. Spanning the 14th century to the early 20th century, selections include hand-painted and hand-block-printed cotton, embroidery, ikat, tie-dye, brocade, and tapestry.
