Virtual Winter Camp “Learn, Play, Celebrate”
Join the Bayou Bend education team online for a look at the ways children and families injected brightness and joy into the midwinter holidays in early America. This two-day interactive workshop explores celebrations during the 1600s, 1700s, and early 1800s. Designed for ages 6 to 10. Advance registration recommended—register once for both days.

• Looking at art that was made by children in early America
• Art-making activities with simple supplies that engage mindfulness
• Live interaction with educators and presenters
• A Twelfth Night–inspired cooking demonstration (Tuesday)
• Performances of period music celebrating the New Year (Wednesday)
