Tour & Toast | “Meiji Modern: Fifty Years of New Japan”

Join fellow art enthusiasts for a private group tour of Meiji Modern: Fifty Years of New Japan. Come see and learn about Japan’s Meiji era (1868–1912). The exhibition explores themes including the role of the sea in Japanese culture; the changing gender roles of the period; the nation’s religion, traditions, and myths; and plants and animals embraced internationally as motifs for export. Following the tour, head over to Cafe Leonelli for a complimentary drink.
