The Princess Bride
SOLD OUT Advance tickets for “The Princess Bride” are sold out, with a limited number available on-site prior to the screening.
The series “Moonlight Movies” brings you classic films under the stars from your seat on the sloping roof of the Glassell School of Art.
The Princess Bride, a charmingly funny fractured fairy tale, pits true love against inconceivable odds—as you wish. The beautiful Princess Buttercup (Robin Wright) and the dashing Westley (Cary Elwes) must overcome staggering obstacles to find happiness amid fencing, fighting, torture, poison, true love, hate, revenge, giants, hunters, bad men, good men, snakes, spiders, beasts, chases, escapes, lies, truths, passion, and miracles.
Each guest receives a complimentary bag of popcorn. Movie-themed cocktails are available for purchase: “Life Is Pain,” “As You Wish,” and “Hello, My Name Is Inigo Montoya. You Killed My Father, Prepare to Die.”
