The MFAH is open every day from March 10 to March 14.
Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday | 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Thursday & Friday | 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Bayou Bend, Rienzi, and the MFAH restaurants have separate schedules.
Looking for fun and inspiration during your Spring Break? The MFAH has options at all locations.
Family activities at the Museum include art-making related to the exhibition Knights in Shining Armor: The Pavia Tapestries. Guests of all ages can explore the intriguing exhibitions and collections throughout the main campus, which features three gallery buildings, colorful artist-designed tunnels, restaurants, and outdoor art installations. Unwind in the sculpture garden, browse the MFA Shop, see a movie, and discover what’s on view at the Glassell School of Art.
Want to extend the fun? You’ll find special programs all week at both MFAH house museums: Rienzi and Bayou Bend Collection and Gardens.

Spring Break Art-Making Activity
March 10–14, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Museum educators and artists lead art-making activities related to the exhibition Knights in Shining Armor: The Pavia Tapestries. Families can create wearable art inspired by 16th-century fashion and culture.
