Object Stories: Judaica in Synagogue and Home

Presented in conjunction with “Beauty and Ritual: Judaica from the Jewish Museum, New York”

Jewish faith leaders from Houston bring to life the stunning ceremonial objects in the exhibition Beauty and Ritual: Judaica from the Jewish Museum, New York. Hear their personal stories of experiences with similar objects adorning the Torah in the synagogue or those used in the home in connection with ritual celebrations, such as the Sabbath and Passover. A moderated discussion follows, exploring the real-world significance of Judaica.
