Members Preview | Golden Worlds: The Portable Universe of Indigenous Colombia
MFAH members are invited to enjoy early access to Golden Worlds: The Portable Universe of Indigenous Colombia before the exhibition opens to the public on November 6.
Golden Worlds reframes the approach to ancient Colombian art, opening a dialogue that showcases the diversity and brilliance of these cultures. The involvement of contemporary Indigenous collaborators infuses the works on view—from gold objects to fantastical ceramic effigies and rare textiles—with life, meaning, and relevance for today and the future.
