Members Preview “Dawoud Bey: An American Project”

MFAH members are invited to enjoy early access to the exhibition Dawoud Bey: An American Project.

Photographer Dawoud Bey portrays communities and histories that have been underrepresented or even unseen. This retrospective ranges from his earliest street portraits in 1970s Harlem to his recent historical explorations: the Underground Railroad and Louisiana plantations.

Curatorial Lecture in Brown Auditorium Theater
