Concert | ROCO Connections “Blossoms” at Rienzi

The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, and ROCO’s Connections series celebrate the 25th anniversary of Rienzi, the MFAH house museum for European decorative arts. “Blossoms, a concert in the ballroom, features Charles Loeffler‘s “Rhapsodies and the world premiere of Nicky Sohn’s “Colors of Life’s Garden,” inspired by the plants and flowers in Rienzi’s gardens.

The performers include Audrey Andrist on piano, Alecia Lawyer on oboe, and Milena Pajaro-van de Stadt on viola. The program also features Margaret Bonds’s “Troubled Water,” Rebecca Clarke’s “Morpheus, and Alyssa Morris’s “Four Personalities Yellow.
