Concert | “Golden Worlds: The Portable Universe of Indigenous Colombia”


The MFAH and the DaCamera Young Artists present a free concert inspired by the exhibition Golden Worlds: The Portable Universe of Indigenous Colombia.

The performers include Jeongwon An on violin, David Dietz on cello, Ariel Lee on violin, Lauren Ross on viola, and alumnus Kyle Comer on guitar. The program features Héctor González’s “Preludio,” Carlos Augusto Zambrano’s “Suite I for Solo Cello,” and Diego Vega’s “String Quartet.”

  • First performance from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
  • Performance repeated from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Plan Your Visit | The performance takes place on the lower level of the Kinder Building, and the exhibition is on view in the Law Building. On Thursdays, the Museum is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. with free general admission.

About the Performers The DaCamera Young Artists program is a professional-development fellowship for instrumentalists, singers, and composers. The young artists participate in performances and workshops at schools, museums, and hospitals.
