Concert | “The Art of Judaica”
September 12, 2024
The MFAH and the DACAMERA Young Artists present a concert inspired by the Albert and Ethel Herzstein Gallery for Judaica.
The Herzstein Gallery features outstanding works of historical Judaica. Among the highlights are an early-19th-century silver and gold Torah Shield, an especially precious 14th-century illustrated prayer book, and a rare 5th-century oil lamp. Art from the MFAH collections and loans from other Houston collections are included.
