Discover an immersive holiday experience during Christmas Village at Bayou Bend. A dazzling bridge brings you into a winter wonderland featuring thousands of lights throughout the 14-acre estate of Bayou Bend Collection and Gardens.

HIGHLIGHTS

Tour the first floor of Ima Hogg’s historic house to see live actors, theatrical effects, and beautiful Christmas decorations.*
Watch a handcrafted model train circle the beautifully decorated 15-foot Christmas tree.
Go sledding down a faux-snow slide.
Toss around cotton snowballs with your friends.
Join in games for all ages, from a scavenger hunt to antler rings and beyond.
Marvel at a 3D video animation presented by LD Systems.
Listen to music from carolers, and play your own holiday tunes at music-bell stations.
Stop by the Cottage Shop to find unique holiday gifts.
Take photos with Santa ($10), who visits through December 23.

PLAN YOUR VISIT

Christmas Village takes place rain or shine.
Parking: A limited amount of priority parking is available for $10. Parking in other lots is free. Drivers are directed to free off-site overflow parking as needed.
Single-occupant strollers are welcome, though many paths do have steps. Service animals are permitted, but please leave pets at home.
Visitors with limited mobility: A few days before your visit, please call 713.639.7750 for accommodation information and arrangements.
Drinks are for sale at the bar. A variety of food, sweets, and drinks will be available for purchase.
*Upgrade your evening with a theatrical, holiday-themed tour of the first floor of the house! Here’s how it works: Choose a time to tour the house, and you can explore Christmas Village throughout the entire evening, before and after your house tour. (The tour adds $5 to any admission, including the free tickets for young children.) Be sure to allow time to park, walk to the entrance, and arrive at the house.
