For our azaleas, we’re aerating; using organic fertilizer and a layer of compost; mulching; then watering really well. The project I’m working the hardest on right now is caring for our many azaleas, which are truly the stars of Bayou Bend’s and Rienzi’s gardens.

Oct 24, 2018 - Lead support for the Sarah Campbell Blaffer Foundation Center for Conservation has been generously provided by the Blaffer Foundation. The campus-redevelopment project is slated for completion in 2020. Facilities requiring darkness, such as for imaging and x-ray studios, are on the inward side. Support spaces, including for framing and storage, are sited between the studios.

Feb 1, 2021 - Study Center visitors can also consult rare books from the photography collection and the Museum’s Hirsch Library, including two recently acquired landmarks in publishing: William Henry Fox Talbot’s The Pencil of Nature (1844–46 planning; audio-visual equipment for small group lectures; and glass-fronted display and storage for the Manfred Heiting Book Collection of nearly 7,500 exceptional examples of photographically illustrated books. Objects for Reflection: New Acquisitions of Medieval Art
