William Kentridge at the Opera
July 9–August 13, 2023
This series, presented to complement the exhibition William Kentridge: In Praise of Shadows, features three films documenting William Kentridge’s collaborations with the Metropolitan Opera in New York. The artist’s long-standing relationship with theater, video, and film animates these acclaimed productions, captured as live cinema events. The screenings are included with Museum admission. Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis in Brown Auditorium Theater.
