The New Ideal Office in the Hybrid Era

AIA Houston | Design Council | Sally Walsh Lecture “The New Ideal Office in the Hybrid Era”

Speaker: Clive Wilkinson

The advent of hybrid working introduces a new age of mobility. The coronavirus pandemic validated the WFH (work from home) model, bringing the home and office into a category of complementary workplace and lifestyle. The work/life balance shifts, commutes are cut down, and employees can manage their own schedules. Offices can save on space, capital costs, and utilities, devoting resources to creating better, more supportive, and exciting workplaces. “The New Ideal Office” must become a magnet for community to ensure its continued relevance.

Plan Your Visit | Admission is free, with seating available on a first-come, first-served basis in Brown Auditorium Theater. On Thursdays, the Museum is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. with free general admission.

Safety Guidelines In the interest of your personal safety and community health, please observe all precautions set forth by the MFAH—learn more here.
