Guided Tours: Pre-K to 12th Grade
Docent-guided tours make cross-curricular connections to develop skills for looking at art, describing art, thinking deeply, and connecting with works of art. These tours are dedicated to the Museum’s four district partners, who bring their entire group of 3rd-grade and 4th-grade students across each district.
The Museum is unable to provide docent-guided tours to non-district partner groups. If you are interested in bringing a group of students to the MFAH, please request a self-guided experience:

How to Prepare for Your Visit
Please review the below documents before your visit.
- The Museum’s collections and special exhibitions include works of art expressing a range of subject matter, including the nude or partially nude human form. Be sure to prepare students for the possibility of viewing these images before you arrive. Museum staff members are happy to answer questions or address concerns about the works on view prior to your Museum visit.
