This revelatory debut feature from twin brothers Arie and Chuko Esiri is a heartrending and hopeful portrait of everyday human endurance in Lagos, Nigeria. The story traces the journeys of an electrician and a hairdresser dealing with family issues as they pursue dreams of starting new lives in Europe. Eyimofe (This Is My Desire) won Best Director and Best Nigerian Film at the 2021 Africa Movie Academy Awards.
