This evening of high-energy poetry and heart sees 12 finalists competing for a coveted spot on the Meta4 Houston Poetry Slam Team and a $1,000 fellowship.   5. Dance Performance | “Weaves & Moves”

    Plan Your Visit This program is included with Museum admission. The performance takes place in Brown Auditorium Theater on the Lower Level of the Law Building. For centuries, India has inspired other Asian countries to weave fabrics and patterns imitating and reimagining materials and designs based on the original Indian prototypes.     Tickets | Free Plan Your Visit The reception takes place on the street level of the Beck Building. The exhibition, on the lower level of the Beck Building, is open during the reception. Recommended location for parking is the Beck Garage. NOTE: After 5 p.m., the only Museum parking is at the Beck Garage.
