Latin Wave Celebrates 11 Great Years
Apr 21, 2016 - Ixcanul I always encourage filmgoers to come to the screenings presented by our guest filmmakers, who make Latin Wave even more special. However, with careful foresight, Oso Dorado will not become a similarly “endangered animal,” and with the knowledge gained through our studies we can plan strategically for future exhibitions of this wonderfully dramatic work

Sep 20, 2016 - Read the curators’ notes, then find the autumn-inspired art on view in our permanent collection galleries! Orangey reds, golden yellows, velvety browns are hard to come by in Houston’s eternal summer, but a visit to the Arts of China gallery can satisfy the need to admire some fall colors. As fall approaches with colder weather, and leaves begin to change color, I imagine many us will want to wrap up in our own quilts at home.
