    Mar 19, 2015 - Simkins is a leading supporter of the arts in San Antonio and Houston. Curated by Alison de Lima Greene, curator of contemporary art and special projects, the exhibition will be accompanied by a fully illustrated catalogue published by the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston. She first began collecting in the mid-1970s and has consistently brought a scholar’s eye to this project across four decades, seeking out examples that illuminate the most innovative moments in artists’ careers.

    Nov 21, 2022 - Additional resources include a repertory cinema; two significant research libraries: the Hirsch Library and the Powell Library and Study Center at Bayou Bend; public archives; a conservation studio; and an off-site storage facility Sarofim will be placed on extended loan to the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, beginning in early 2023, in a collaboration between the museum and the Sarofim Foundation.
