  1. Night at the MFAH: Kaleidoscope of Color

    Visit the Namai trunk show at the MFA Shop on Level 1 of the Beck Building. Tickets $40 per person Free for MFAH members. Members at the Individual level are eligible for one free ticket. Additionally, all Museum galleries are open late for you to explore. As tickets are available, members can purchase additional tickets for $35 each. If you are not yet an MFAH member, join now to be eligible for free tickets to Night at the MFAH events.

  2. Concert | The Biggest Brandon “Floating World: A.A.Murakami”

    Plan Your Visit This concert is included with Museum admission. The performance takes place in the Atrium on Level 1 of the Beck Building, near the exhibition galleries. He also composed music for Lifeblood, a video and installation by Tania Candiani at the Blaffer Art Museum in Houston. His debut album, The Biggest Love, is scheduled for release later this year.   August 29, 2025The Biggest Brandon visits the MFAH for a Friday evening performance inspired by the exhibition Floating World: A.A.Murakami.

  3. Monthly Meditation Sessions by the Black Man Project + Black Woman Project

    Plan Your Visit Free and open to the public on the PNC Roof Garden. In the event of inclement weather, this event moves indoors to the McNair Education Court on the lower level of the Kinder Building. The Black Woman Project, founded by Tarren Everette, is a nonprofit rooted in creating safe spaces for healing and healthy conversations for exploring the many nuances that affect Black women. We apologize for any inconvenience.

    She was awarded the 2023 Carol Crow Fellowship by the Houston Center for Photography, where she debuted a collection of collages for her solo exhibition.
