The Biggest Brandon visits the MFAH for a Friday evening performance inspired by the exhibition Floating World: A.A.Murakami. A groundbreaking fusion of the technical and the natural, Floating World transports you to an ethereal world where science meets art.
Experience an electronica concert capturing themes from the exhibition through immersive soundscapes. The Biggest Brandon is a Houston musical artist whose work bridges soul, jazz, R&B, classical, and experimental sound—centered around emotional presence, atmospheric beauty, and the storytelling power of Black musical traditions.

About the Performer
The Biggest Brandon, a Houston-born vocalist with a deep command of voice, piano, flute, production, and arrangement, fuses genres to reflect personal truth and cultural legacy. A graduate of Kinder HSPVA and Prairie View A&M University, Brandon has created original music for exhibitions by Carrie Mae Weems, including The Shape of Things at Park Avenue Armory in New York and Land of Broken Dreams, a nationally touring installation. He also composed music for Lifeblood, a video and installation by Tania Candiani at the Blaffer Art Museum in Houston. His debut album, The Biggest Love, is scheduled for release later this year.
