The Final 12 | WITS Poetry Slam

This evening of high-energy poetry and heart sees 12 finalists competing for a coveted spot on the Meta4 Houston Poetry Slam Team and a $1,000 fellowship. For over 40 years, WITS has helped young people unlock the joy and power of storytelling and creative expression by connecting them with professional writers and spoken-word artists.

Plan Your Visit This program is included with Museum admission. The performance takes place in Brown Auditorium Theater on the Lower Level of the Law Building. For centuries, India has inspired other Asian countries to weave fabrics and patterns imitating and reimagining materials and designs based on the original Indian prototypes.
