  2. Lecture | Tiffany’s Glass Visions of the Natural World: An Extraordinary Landscape Window

    On Thursday, admission to the MFAH Permanent Collections is free for all individuals, courtesy of Shell USA, Inc.  The three-part Garden Landscape, recently acquired by the Metropolitan Museum of Art, is scheduled to be unveiled in New York this fall. Her purview includes 18th- to early-20th-century ceramics and glass; furniture of the Gilded Age and Arts & Crafts Movement; and the work of Louis Comfort Tiffany.

  5. The 21st Annual Eye on Houston: High School Documentary Photography exhibition opens today at the MFAH

    Jan 12, 2016 - Eye on Houston invites students to offer a glimpse into their daily lives, experiences, and personal stories. This year, the exhibition expands to include a greater number of Houston communities. Admission to the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, is $15 for adults, $10 for seniors and military members, $7.50 for students, and free for children 12 and under. The exhibition is a collaboration between the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, and area high schools to document and celebrate Houston’s diverse neighborhoods. Eye on Houston will remain on view through Sunday, May 1, 2016.
