Raise a glass to midcentury entertaining at Rienzi’s annual Historic Dinner. In celebration of the exhibition Midcentury Menu: Dining in the Atomic Age, the house museum is partnering with the team behind the Toasted Coconut and Nobie’s to craft a fine-dining adventure of postwar American cuisine and cocktails inspired by the “tiki craze” of the 1950s and 1960s.

 

The culinary team—led by Martin and Sara Stayer—guides diners through several courses that honor the bold tastes and styles of this fascinating era in American history. Step back in time and experience the flavors that Carroll Sterling Masterson and Harris Masterson III, the original owners of the Rienzi home and collection, likely encountered in this very ballroom at an elegant seated dinner.
