Gallery Talk at Rienzi | “Hall Chair” for Chiswick House

October 19, 2023 Learn more about the works of art at Rienzi, the MFAH house museum for European decorative arts.  This month, Trevor Boyd, associate conservator of objects and sculpture, discusses the rare 18th-century Hall Chair designed for Chiswick House in London by English architect and artist William Kent. Education programs at Rienzi receive generous funding from the Sterling-Turner Foundation; Alkek and Williams Foundation; Carroll Sterling and Harris Masterson III Endowment; and the Caroline Wiess Law Endowment for Rienzi.
