The MFAH has a great team of conservators caring for the collections. Most people think of conservators using tiny brushes and cotton swabs to repair objects. True, but that’s just one aspect of what we do.

    Dec 1, 2021 - The lineup may not have been age-appropriate for a preschooler, but it opened the door to a lifelong passion for film. My thanks to the MFAH film program for all the years of enjoyment, and for the years to come in Brown Auditorium Theater and the new Lynn Wyatt Theater. My grandfather made a booster seat for me to use in the projection booth, and there I sat for hours watching films like Old Yeller, Attack of the 50-Foot Woman, Psycho, and Village of the Damned.
