  2. Portrait of Spain: Masterpieces from the Prado

    Trammell SPAIN-USA Foundation Education programs for this exhibition are made possible by the Favrot Fund. For more, watch this brief behind-the-scenes video. This exhibition is organized by the Museo Nacional del Prado, Madrid, in association with the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston.  Artists who worked for the royal court and directly influenced the development of painting in Spain are also well represented, with superb paintings by Titian, Peter Paul Rubens, and Giovanni Domenico Tiepolo. 

  3. Ewan Gibbs: Arlington National Cemetery

    British artist Ewan Gibbs has achieved international acclaim for his drawings that re-create photographic imagery. For this exhibition, Gibbs trained his expert eye on Arlington National Cemetery to create a series of 16 drawings after photographs he took while visiting the iconic site. Generous funding for this exhibition and its accompanying catalogue is provided by the following donors in memory of Barry Walker: John Blackmon and John Roberson Jeanne and Michael Klein Lora Reynolds and Quincy Lee

    The Yates High School Photography Program and the "Eye on Third Ward" exhibition receive generous funding from the CFP Foundation; the Junior League of Houston, Inc.; and the Tri Delta Art Show for Charity, Inc.
