About the Artist Alonie Riggins is a dancer, creative, and storyteller whose practice has been shaped by more than 20 years of movement, rhythm, and collaboration.

The concert takes place in Gallery 214 on Level 2 of the Beck Building. The “Bach & Mendelssohn” program highlights Johann Sebastian Bach’s “The Art of the Fugue” and “Goldberg Variations” as well as Felix Mendelssohn’s “Octet in E-Flat Major for Strings, Op. 20.”
Singers from Cantare Houston fill the Museum’s galleries with music during 20-minute preview concerts, which are free, and 90-minute walking concerts, which are ticketed.

Maximize Your Visit with Double Features
Bergman’s filmography is so vast that both venues have double features! The month-long tribute in Houston—one of the largest in the United States this year—will undoubtedly provide memorable experiences for our audiences. Our colleagues at the Consulate General of Sweden in Houston provided the banner, which hangs on the wall outside the Brown Auditorium Theater.
