He is currently working on a biography of Louis Comfort Tiffany. His legacy comprises few answers but poses a broad range of enduring, entrancing questions.

Harun Farocki: Art/Work and the Invisible Hand
His development of the film essay, and his critical engagement as editor of the journal Filmkritik (1974–84), have had a decisive influence on a generation of artists and filmmakers. The film follows society woman Clarissa as she prepares to host a party at her home in Lagos, Nigeria, where she will unexpectedly encounter once-intimate friends from her youth. As the group reflects on their shared past over the course of a single night, memories of their intricate relationships, passionate love, hidden desires, and lost aspirations give rise to bittersweet reckoning.
