Celebrate the work of Patrick Palmer, dean of the Glassell Studio School, at this reception for Imagined Ancestors, his new exhibition of paintings and sculptures.
The exhibition reflects on the generations of people who have shaped Palmer’s life in ways both profound and subtle. The works on view tackle the impossible idea that there could be a singular moment or expression that defines these individuals. Palmer investigates the quiet moments to better understand how the past and present are forever connected.
This reception also highlights the work of Palmer's students, which is featured in the concurrent exhibition Put a Bird on It.
