Born in Mexico, Arielle Masson grew up in Brussels, where she studied drawing at the École des Arts Visuels d’Uccle. She obtained a master of fine arts from the University of Houston and was awarded a fellowship in the Glassell School of Art’s Core Residency Program, as well as the Nancy B. Negley Artist Residency Program at the Dora Maar House in Ménerbes, France.
