The MFA Shop presents a two-day trunk show with Chicago-based jeweler Erika Novak. Creating lines of wearable contemporary jewelry in silver, bronze, or brass, Novak uses a combination of traditional bench methods, digital techniques, and industrial processes. Coming from a technology and graphic design background, she took a non-traditional approach to metalsmithing, largely formed by participation in workshops that nurtured her need for learning and creative expression.
