The MFAH and Writers in the Schools (WITS) present the Grand Slam Finals. This event is the culmination of the Meta4 Slam Series, a free youth poetry competition held across Houston. The series gives young Houston poets, rappers, emcees, and spoken-word artists the opportunity to perform and build community with other youth artists and to compete for a spot on the World Champion Meta4 Houston youth poetry slam team.

- This event takes place in Brown Auditorium Theater on the lower level of the Law Building. Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Doors open at 5:45 p.m.
