The 2025 CreatiVets Retrospective: A Decade of Healing Through Art highlights art created by U.S. military veterans. The featured works were made during a two-week art-instruction program at the Glassell School of Art.
In partnership with the national nonprofit organization CreatiVets, the program uses art as a process for healing. This third iteration at the Glassell School offered veterans instruction in film, photography, and ceramics.

About the Program
CreatiVets is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with the goal of offering opportunities for relief and healing for the men and women who have sacrificed so much for the United States. Using various forms of art, including songwriting, visual arts, music, and creative writing, CreatiVets helps disabled veterans cope with service-related trauma (such as post-traumatic stress, or PTS) by fostering self-expression in a way that allows them to transform their stories of trauma and struggle into an art form that can inspire and motivate continued healing.
