Presented to honor two-time Oscar-winner Gene Hackman (1930–2025), one of the industry’s most celebrated actors, this film showcases his breakout role in Bonnie and Clyde.
In the 1930s, car thief Clyde Barrow (Warren Beatty) teams up with Bonnie Parker (Faye Dunaway)—the daughter of one of his victims—and together they become notorious bank robbers and Depression-era folk legends. They form a gang with Clyde’s brother and sister-in-law (Gene Hackman and Estelle Parsons) and a gas-station employee (Michael J. Pollard), but are on the run after Clyde commits murder during a robbery.
