Jeff Forster, head of the ceramics department at the Glassell School of Art, presents a talk about the exhibition Jeff Forster: Reverent Formations. Forster transforms the everyday byproducts of the ceramics studio into raw, expressive sculpture. Fusing chance and intention, he works with leftover clay, broken kiln shelves, and other studio remnants—materials often seen as waste—to create works that feel both ancient and urgent.
