Experience music from the era of Knights in Shining Armor: The Pavia Tapestries. Bach Society Houston presents a concert of madrigals and chansons by composers who worked at roughly the same time as the 16th-century Battle of Pavia. Hear music from French, Italian, Spanish, and possibly German/Swiss writers, performed by nine singers and one percussionist. James Anno, associate curator of European art, introduces the 30-minute program, which the group performs twice.
