Writers Remix Series | Juneteenth
In 2007, Brown became the first woman to win the National Blue Bonnet Poetry Slam Competition. C.T. has been on the spoken word scene, believing it to be a great representation of Gulf Coast folklore, for 30 years. On Fridays, the Museum is open until 9 p.m. with happy hour from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Arrival Hall on the Lower Level of the Kinder Building. In addition to celebrating Juneteenth, this session of the Writers Remix Series focuses on the installation Hidden Histories on Level 3 of the Kinder Building.
