Photography and the Photobook: A Conversation with Bea Nettles
Plan Your Visit Admission is free. This program takes place in the American General Conference Room on the mezzanine level of the Beck Building. Seating is first come, first served. She went on to receive two National Endowment for the Arts Fellowships, and in 2023 she was inducted into the International Photography Hall of Fame. The Museum’s Hirsch Library recently acquired more than 50 photographically illustrated books from Nettles. The acquisition brings to the MFAH a particularly rich collection associated with this singular photographer.
