Signed copies of the book, a biography of fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld, are available for purchase at the lecture.

  6. Summer Lit Series | “Thomas Demand: The Stutter of History”

    Plan Your Visit This program is included with Museum admission. The performances take place in the exhibition gallery in the Beck Building. “Thomas Demand: The Stutter of History” has been co-organized by the Foundation for the Exhibition of Photography, Minneapolis/Paris/Lausanne, and Ullens Center for Contemporary Art, Beijing/Shanghai, in collaboration with the Miranda Ramírez is a multidisciplinary artist; writer; founder and director of Defunkt Press; and literary columnist for Public Poetry.

  7. Azalea Trail

    When you visit the MFAH house museums during Azalea Trail, it’s best to park at Bayou Bend and take the shuttle bus to Rienzi.   Education programs at Rienzi receive generous funding from the Sterling-Turner Foundation; Alkek and Williams Foundation; Carroll Sterling and Harris Masterson III Endowment; and the Caroline Wiess Law Endowment for Rienzi.

  10. Awards Ceremony | 6th Annual Emerging Scholars in Object-Based Learning

    The Museum’s Hirsch Library and the University of Houston’s School of Art present the sixth annual awards for Emerging Scholars in Object-Based Learning. Plan Your Visit This program is open to the public. Admission is free. The Hirsch Library is located on the lower level of the Beck Building.
