Culinary Canvas
Le Jardinier at MFAH offers three special menu items inspired by the exhibition. The Perfumed Impressions cocktail pays tribute to Picasso’s love of absinthe. The Octopus Carpaccio embraces the spontaneity of abstract art, and the Chef’s Kiss dessert draws from Picasso’s Blue Period.
The Art of Play: Colors, Shapes, and Stories
A family-friendly space is located at the conclusion to this exhibition. Explore the vibrant colors of Pablo Picasso with magnets and blocks, use digital boards to draw playful lines inspired by Paul Klee, and create bold cut-out shapes in the spirit of Henri Matisse. Read stories together and discover more about these artists and the masterpieces on view.
