Mission Statement
The Glassell School of Art at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, is a dynamic art community that engages artists of all ages, experiences, and backgrounds. The school offers art education programs for children, teens, and adults, coauthors civic engagement opportunities, and maintains the international Core Residency Program. We are committed to fostering an environment where excellence is the standard, creativity prospers, and the transformative power of art is accessible to all.
