Margaret O’Brien-Nelson: Bodies of Water December 14, 2024–February 16, 2025
The Glassell School of Art presents the inaugural Director’s Choice exhibition, selected by the director of the school, Paul Coffey. This debut features the exceptional work of Margaret O’Brien-Nelson, whose work beautifully embodies the spirit of the Glassell School of Art.
“For some, a figure floating face down in water may provoke anxiety; for others, it conveys tranquility. Water covers about 71 percent of the Earth’s surface. Floating is a parable for life. Water is where we find balance and the expression of life as a series of buoyant experiences.” —Margaret O’Brien-Nelson
